Description of the Lomac 790 IN

The Tasmania is a 2021 Lomac 790 IN, meticulously maintained and pure power. A true queen of the sea. It’s the perfect combination of performance, comfort, and versatility in the 8-meter RIB segment, and the most powerful boat in our fleet without a cabin. With 12 seats on board and a 300 HP Yamaha engine equipped with autopilot, it’s perfect for making the most of your day sailing, exploring, and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Menorca’s coves, or practicing water sports. Its wide range of safety features —VHF radio, GPS, Plotter, Nautical Sounder, electric windlass, and first-aid kit— ensures calm and safe navigation at all times. The bow offers a spacious sundeck to comfortably enjoy the sun, while in the roomy stern cockpit, the seats convert into another large sundeck under the Bimini top. The elegant teak table transforms the cockpit into a very comfortable dinette, perfect for lunch or relaxing between swims. With Bluetooth music system and two shower areas, the Tasmania has absolutely everything for a perfect day at sea.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE Lomac 790 IN

Do I need a nautical license to rent the Tasmania?

It depends on the option chosen. If you rent without a skipper, you must hold a valid Basic Navigation License (PNB). If you prefer not to worry about that, you can hire it with a professional skipper included.
The Tasmania has a capacity for 12 people, making it, along with the Lomac 7.0, the highest-capacity RIB in the fleet. Ideal for large groups who want to enjoy a full day at sea together.
The Tasmania is the larger version: 8 meters in length compared to the Oceans IV’s 6.5 meters, 300 HP versus 150 HP, and more complete equipment with autopilot, VHF radio, and double shower. If you are a large group looking for maximum power and space, the Tasmania is your choice.
The departure point is Mahón Port, from where you can access the most spectacular coves on both the south and north coasts of Menorca.
With 300 HP at your disposal, the Tasmania allows you to reach any corner of the Menorcan coast quickly and comfortably. If you sail with a skipper, they will guide you to the best anchorages and coves depending on the day’s conditions.
Yes, food and drinks are not included. The teak dinette in the stern cockpit, under the Bimini top, is the perfect place to eat comfortably with the sea as your backdrop.
